Trek to Everest Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri Peak

Everest region is full of trekking destinations. Most of them have a bit challenging path. Everest Gokyo Lake route is also included in it. The path used by Tibetan traders will be our main walking path. Tibetan traders used it for a business proposal. We will be offered with Tibetan Culture in our path. The routes in this region are mainly attracted by a forest of bamboo & Pine, Crystal Clear view of Mountain ranges. Ngozumpa glaciers are also included in our trek. It is the largest glacier in the world. There is two ice part i.e. Mt. Cho Oyu & Gyachung. In our whole trek, we cross it. It will be difficult to cross the pass. It is situated at high altitudes.
With early morning mountain flight to Lukla, we start our real trek to Everest Gokyo Lake. Our main destination is Gokyo Lake. It is situated at 4750 m. We pass through several villages of Tibetan culture. We need to settle in them. We can have an interaction with local peoples. We can explore them. Our main viewpoint Gokyo Ri offers us a panoramic view of the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest including many other more giant mountains. Finishing our destination we will return through the same track and which is after Everest Base Camp more Popular Gokyo Lakes or Gokyo Valley Trekking in Nepal
Everest Gokyo Lake trek is difficult trekking route. It is kept in the category of the strenuous & moderate trek. We need to be experienced. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
On landing your flight on TIA Nepal, there will be a warm welcome for you. Our representative of Everest Trekking Routes will be waiting for your arrival. You will be shifted to a place of accommodation. With a rest of some time, a brief description of the upcoming program is done with your guide.
Day 02: Kathmandu exploration and preparation for the trek.
The first day of Nepal tour starts with sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Having our breakfast we move to Pashupatinath. It is the most known holiest temple of Lord Shiva. Spending a little time we move to Bauddhanath (Little Tibet). Our next destination is Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Visiting all this we will move to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square, the final destination. Lastly, we will be back to our hotel and make preparation for the next program.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla 2800m and trek to Phakding 2610m.
Our trek is started with early morning mountain flight to Lukla. Duration of our flight goes around 1 hr. we will be offered with giant mountain ranges. Reaching Lukla we will carry our luggage and start our trek. Walking for around 3 hours we will reach Phakding for our night. The first-day walk will be short for us.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440m.
Namche Bazaar is our today’s destination. Crossing Hillary Suspension Bridge we will start our trek. Walking through the river bank of the Dudhkoshi River, we lead to our destination. This will be our entrance of Sagarmatha national park. In this way, we eventually reach Namche Bazaar for our night.
Day 05: Rest at Namche Bazaar
We directly start our trek from high altitude. It creates difficulty in walking. So we will spend our whole day accumulating our self at Namche Bazaar. We will visit all around the places over here. Tourist Visitor Center is near Headquarter of Sagarmatha National Park is also in our today’s routine.
Day 06: Namche to Dole (4110m) – 6 Hours
We will climb steeply up of Namche Bazaar. Kyangjuma village is our rest point. From here outstanding views of Thamserku & Amadablam can be enjoyed. Passing through Mong La, we stop at its top. We can enjoy grandstanding views of snowcapped mountains. We can get a chance to observe various flora & fauna.
Day 07: Dole to Machhermo (4470m) – 5 Hours
From Dole, we head to Machhermo. We will not be walking in strenuous track. We can get the opportunity of enjoying the amazing spectacular natural beauty in our path. Excellent views of mountains like Cho Oyu, Kantega and Thamserku will be so much impressive. In around five hours we reach Machhermo for our night.
Day 08: Machhermo to Gokyo Lake (4800m) – 5 Hours
Our today’s destination is Gokyo Valley. It will be so much impressive walking onwards along various lakes. It will be difficult in walking as we need to climb gradually uphill continuously. We will reach Gokyo valley during our lunchtime. Having lunch we can rest for some moments and visit around Gokyo valley.
Day 09: Climb up to Gokyo Ri and return back to Dole – 7 Hours
Today is the main day of our trekking. We will hike up to Gokyo Ri and return back to Dole. Our journey goes long so we will start our trek in the early morning. Panoramic views of Mount Everest with many other giant mountain ranges will be full of excitement & joy. We need to have better weather condition. We will send us some precious time in Gokyo Ri and we return back to Dole for our night.
Day 10: Dole to Namche Bazaar – 5 Hours
Our all destination is finished. It is time to return back to our place. In our returning journey, our destination is Namche Bazaar. The same beauty of nature with mountain ranges is so much impressive. We view them from a different angle. Continuing downhill track we reach Namche Bazaar for our night.
Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2804m) – 6 Hours
From Namche Bazaar, our journey leads us to Lukla. It is the ending point of our trek. It will be full of joy viewing a beautiful glimpse of giant mountain ranges. It will be so much easy walking on flat & downhill trial. Reaching on Lukla we will make confirmation of our tomorrow’s flight to Lukla. Finishing it we will rest remaining time.
Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu
Having early morning mountain flight to Kathmandu, we can feel as if we are flying in heaven. It will be about 1 Hr. we will be flying above beautiful giant ranges of mountains. It will be so much impressive moment of our life. On arrival in Kathmandu, we will be shifted to our hotel which will end our trek.  
Day 13: Farewell

Spending the last night at Kathmandu, we will be ready to return back to the homeland. The small farewell program is organized for your team. Management of returning back and departure is made by our team. Hope you will be back to Nepal to visit the remaining side of beautiful Nepal.
